Your photography has that little "pop" to the eye that most others do not not when it comes to food photography. Really one of the yummiest galleries on DA! ^^

I have wanted to engage in this type of photography as a career for a while now but do not really know where to start. If you have any tips for a fellow photographer on how to approach restaurants, build a client base in this area or any tips for starting off it would be well noted.

Keep up the sexy dishes! ;)

Wow! Thank you! I too would like to get into this as a career versus just a couple of hobbies mixed together and made to work :)

I unfortunately can't tell you much when it comes to approaching restaurants or building client bases. The only thing I could suggest is to build your photography portfolio around food styling.

I do all the cooking for my own photos, but if that's an issue maybe you can try to make friends with people attending a culinary school and/or collaborate with a friend who enjoys cooking, as I'm sure it would be a great way to build your portfolio as well as for them to work on the presentation portion of their dishes!

If you find anything else that works feel free to let me know!

Well you definitely have the studio name down ;) I'm sure you will pick up work soon considering your work here.

Ok Thanks!
Time to start cooking then :) I think I might take some culinary classes. Always wanted to anyways.
